alexis-peony

Alexis, aka “the keeper of the internet” is the lady that processes all the internet orders that come through Hart’s and she is always super adorable.  The dress is made out of Heather Ross’sBriar Rose” fabric collection and she used Colette’s Peony pattern to make the dress.

alexis-topAlexis made this fab top out of a  double gauze from Nani Iro’s new collection.  The pattern is the “Violet Shirt” from Colette Patterns.

alexis-sailor-skirtAlexis did a tutorial on this box pleat skirt.  Check it out here!  The royal blue fabric is from  Michael Miller’s “Cotton Couture” collection.  The double stripe at hem is made from two stitched rows of white Petersham grosgrain.

alexis-miz-mozelAnother adorable dress worn by Alexis this week.   She made this dress from Jamie Christina’sMiz Mozelle” pattern.  The fabric is an Art Gallery print and Kona solid for the sash, key hole and collar.

alexis's-dress-cambieThis dress is made from Sewaholic‘s “Cambie Dress” pattern.  The fabric is a toile print similar to Alexander Henry‘s Midnight Pastoral Toile.

dani's-dressDani made this dress from Colette’s free downloadable Sorbetto shirt pattern.  She shows you how to alter the pattern in a tutorial here!  The fabric she chose is from Melody Miller‘s latest collection.

dani's-stressHere is Dani rockin another hand made garment!  This dress is made using Colette’s Laurel Shift Dress pattern.  The fabric is a cotton floral print.

dani-record-dressHere is Dani in another “Laurel Shift Dress.”  This dress is so fun and simple to make, it’s definitely a wardrobe staple.  There are so many variations you can do with this dress too.  Colette has provided a free downloadable here.  The record fabric is by Melody Miller.

amy's-dressAs you can see, the  “Laurel Shift” dress is quite a popular pattern.  Here I am wearing it with the long sleeve version.  The fabric is a rayon challis print.

annis-skirtAnnie is wearing a self drafted elastic waistband skirt.  The fabric is a fun safety pin cotton print.  We have lots of sewing themed fabric to pick from here!

katrianas-topThis is a self drafted top made by Katrina.  She used a floral chiffon for the front and back and coordinating solid chiffon on the sides.  I love the rolled ruffle hem she did on sleeves and neckline.

katrina-jasmineKatrina made this beautiful top from Colette’s “Jasmine” top pattern.  The fabric is a dotty chiffon print.

katrina-deer-dressHere is another self-drafted garment from Katrina.  She is an amazing seamstress and teaches classes here at Hart’s if you want to learn how to sew.  Unfortunately this fabric is sold out, we actually only had it in the store one week!

katrina-schoolhouseKatrina made this top using Sew Liberated‘s “School House Tunic.”  The fabric is a Japanese Import.

leslies-pantsLeslie made these amazing pants from a Vogue #8774 pattern.  She used a cotton stretch bottom-weight fabric in teal.  I love how she top stitched with red thread, co cute!

leslie-topLeslie made this top from Decades of StyleGirl Friday” pattern she altered.  The fabric is a rayon challis cheetah print.

leslie-dressLeslie copied this dress from another dress she already had in her closet.  The fabric is a raw silk noil in brown.  The fabric is light-weight, breathable and machine washable.
