Here are this weeks employee garment pics…
Alexis, aka “the keeper of the internet” is the lady that processes all the internet orders that come through Hart’s and she is always super adorable. The dress is made out of Heather Ross’s “Briar Rose” fabric collection and she used Colette’s Peony pattern to make the dress.
Alexis did a tutorial on this box pleat skirt. Check it out here! The royal blue fabric is from Michael Miller’s “Cotton Couture” collection. The double stripe at hem is made from two stitched rows of white Petersham grosgrain.
Dani made this dress from Colette’s free downloadable Sorbetto shirt pattern. She shows you how to alter the pattern in a tutorial here! The fabric she chose is from Melody Miller‘s latest collection.
Here is Dani in another “Laurel Shift Dress.” This dress is so fun and simple to make, it’s definitely a wardrobe staple. There are so many variations you can do with this dress too. Colette has provided a free downloadable here. The record fabric is by Melody Miller.
This is a self drafted top made by Katrina. She used a floral chiffon for the front and back and coordinating solid chiffon on the sides. I love the rolled ruffle hem she did on sleeves and neckline.
Here is another self-drafted garment from Katrina. She is an amazing seamstress and teaches classes here at Hart’s if you want to learn how to sew. Unfortunately this fabric is sold out, we actually only had it in the store one week!
Leslie made these amazing pants from a Vogue #8774 pattern. She used a cotton stretch bottom-weight fabric in teal. I love how she top stitched with red thread, co cute!
Leslie copied this dress from another dress she already had in her closet. The fabric is a raw silk noil in brown. The fabric is light-weight, breathable and machine washable.
Jo made this top from a black and white printed sweater knit.
Here is another one of Tera’s self-drafted skirt made out of a coral ruffle fabric.
Here is another ruffle fabric skirt made by Tera. She also made a matching jacket with buttons sewn into shape of a heart. Super cute!
Here is an adorable skirt made by Rebecca out of Anna Maria Horner’s newest collection.
