One of the best parts about working at Harts is seeing what becomes of the fabric that we sell. I love cutting fabric for customers and imagining what their projects will look like! We have so many talented and creative customers, it is always a treat getting to see pictures of their finished projects!

Many of our awesome customers have fantastic sewing blogs with pictures of  projects they have made using our fabrics. Here are just a few of our many talented customers and their crafty sewing blogs:

Treasure Seeking is a fantastic blog run by Erin, recently she posted a tutorial for making a fabulous eco-felt wreath!

A Good Wardrobe is a blog dedicated to what makes a good wardrobe and how to make one! This adorable top was made with our organic cotton/lycra Jersey!

Queen of the Flies has an adorable blog filled with sewing projects and family fun. She recently made this amazing dress from one of our printed cotton voiles.

Sweet Little Chickadee is a favorite blog of ours, Juli has made a few projects out of fabrics from us, our favorite is probably her hip tourist skirt, made from Japanese imported cotton/linen.

Susie Homemaker, MD is a super cute blog with tons of awesome sewing project posts! Check out the recent post about the Sewaholic Lonsdale dress made with our Classica Flora Rayon Challis!

Do you have a sewing/crafting blog? We would love to see it! Be sure to leave a link in the comment section! Also, you can always share your project with us on our Facebook page, or by emailing your photos to us at! We look forward to seeing all your projects!

Here at Hart’s we love seeing our fabric enter the store with nothing but endless possibilities of what it can be made into and then actually getting to see the finished result from your photos. Craftster, blogger, artiest and fabric fan Juli emailed us to show us some of the projects that she made from our fabric and we thought they were so well done and adorable that there wasn’t any doubt about sharing them with our blog readers.
Sweet Little Chickadee Juli!
Juli’s blog is Sweet Little Chickadee and it has all of her wonderful projects that she has made but the ones we are highlighting are her  Retro Floral Ginger (Skirt)and the Hip Tourist Skirt. In her blog she describes herself as a small town girl who loves crafting, Mr. Sweet (her husband) and her adorable dachshund Ollie. She is a talented craftster who does so many other things besides sewing like illustration, photography and knitting. Hart’s fabric tips their hat to you today Juli for making some of the most adorable skirts we’ve seen so far this season.
Retro Floral Ginger (Skirt)
We are big fans of the Colette Patterns here at harts and almost everyone of our staff members has one Colette garment in their closet so we always love to see other peoples variations and we are in love with Juli’s Ginger Skirt! She used a Japanese imported Melody Miller floral fabric that really make this skirt pop and makes it a perfect spring wardrobe staple.

The Hip Tourist Skirt
This skirt is so cute and so simple but the fabric really makes it pop! She used a simple Burda pattern and used the Japanese Import Light Weight Cotton Linen Euro Map Print Fabric.
This skirt is super adorable and she wears it so well!
So all in all thank you Juli for sharing your projects with us and keep up your good work and we look forward to seeing your next project!
If you have project photos that you would like to share with us We’d love to see them!!)  email them to
