Hey guys! I'm super excited to share my Réglisse Dress with you! I've been wanting to sew this pattern for ages, so naturally I jumped at the chance to make it!
Deer and Doe patterns always come together so beautifully, and the Réglisse was no exception! This pattern was a dream to sew. I loved the quick and simple construction, plus, the elastic waist made the fitting a breeze!
In case you didn't know, mint is one of my absolute favorite colors, so of course I'm obsessed with this gorgeous rayon! Cotton + Steel rayon is magical, seriously! It's so nice to work with, wonderful drape but not too slippery, it was the perfect fabric for this pattern!
I made version B because I really love the decorative button details on the bodice (and I especially loved that the pattern doesn't call for actual button holes)!
I found that the pattern ended up being a lot easier to sew than I had originally expected. I think that my fabric choice really helped, a lighter weight rayon may make the pattern trickier to sew. I think it would also look wonderful made from a cotton lawn!
I'm completely in love with this pattern! I can't say enough good things about it, I will definitely be making the Réglisse again!
