New Merch Monday
Hey guys, guess what?! We are starting a new weekly blog segment to give you a bit more of a behind the scenes look at what is coming into the store. Our goal is to show you a sneak peek every Monday of what is newly available on the floor, or patiently waiting in the back to get online. We hope you find some few fabric you love!
As you might have seen in the cover photo, the new Lizzy House collection, Printmaking arrived. We ordered all the canvas and lawns from the collection and we are loving the prints. The colors and geometric patterns are so unique. We think the lawns would be fabulous as a 100 Acts of Sewing Shirt no.1 or Dress no.1.
Double brushed poly knits are all the rage and we can see why. Not only are they super soft, the prints are adorable. We are seeing this fabric show up in tons of ready to wear clothing including leggings, dresses and shirts. Make an Ebony dress or the Virginia leggings for a cute and comfy wardrobe addition.
These lightweight cotton lawns are perfect for Spring inspired shirts and dresses. We think they would look lovely as a warm weather Alder or Kalle shirt-dress. Alexis is planning on sewing the lavender plaid into a new Melilot shirt by Deer and Doe!
Our watercolor inspired polys are semi-sheer and look great with the new colorways of rayon batiste. Pair them together for a breezy blouse or flowy dress. We think they would look great as a date night dress, what would you sew them into?
